1. Heating circuit distributor
When connection is made to a heating circuit distributor a range of possibilities is open: Regulation can be carried out by means of a handwheel or automatically via a room temperature regulator with servomotor on the heating circuit distributor.

4. Variotherm servomotor valve, which fits into the ducted channel (2-pipe installations)
The Variotherm servomotor valve (straight-way), which can be installed in the ducted channel itself, makes it possible in a simple way to regulate the individual heating circuits via an ambient temperature regulator (e.g. PIKOLO H), even for 2-pipe installations.
The Variotherm servomotor is an electrothermal servo drive for 2-point regulation. Function: via an external electrical contact the servomotor is activated by the ambient temperature regulator (e.g. PIKOLO H) and begins to open or close the thermostat valve. The setting function is operated by an electrically heated expansion element. If the heating circuit is switched off the servomotor opens or closes the valve. The Variotherm servomotor is maintenance free and operates noiselessly.
To control the Variotherm servomotor, ambient temperature regulators with output side switching contact can be used. If required a number of drives can be connected in parallel. The permissible number of parallel connected drives depends on the electrical load capacity of the ambient temperature regulator and is calculated as follows:
