Comfort with the Best View

The extension of the Ronacher thermal spa hotel in Bad Kleinkirchheim combines modern architecture with generous glass surfaces and an impressive view of the Carinthian mountains. To ensure that guests always feel completely comfortable in the light-filled foyer and restaurant, an equally effective and discreet heating solution was required.

Trench Heating System from Variotherm was integrated into the floor directly along the window fronts. It creates a pleasant warm-air curtain in front of the glass surfaces, counteracting cold, descending air. This keeps the area directly by the window comfortable too – when arriving, relaxing or enjoying breakfast with a view of the greenery.

A total of 32 floor ducts were distributed across twelve heating circuits. The black roll-up grilles blend harmoniously into the modern interior design while keeping the areas in front of the windows completely clear. This allows the heating to perform its function reliably without detracting from the architecture or the view.

An unobtrusive solution for maximum comfort – and for a view that guests can enjoy at any time of year.
