A feel-good dream on the Aegean

In a suburb of Athens, the surface heating and cooling systems from Variotherm have now been installed in a modern new building – with a unique view of the sea.

It is no secret that Variotherm is well-known far beyond the Alpine and Danube region. In beautiful Greece, specifically in Voula, a beach suburb of Athens, a builder has now chosen Variotherm products for his new construction. For the loft in the attic with a direct view of the sea, systems for heating and cooling were used. After all, cozy warmth is needed in one's own four walls during the Greek winter, while in the hot summer, a pleasant and draft-free cooling is required. 

Climatic and technical expertise on site

The building, constructed in energy class A++, consists of a total of 650 m2 of living space. With Calda Energy, Variotherm has a direct Variotherm Partner on site, which has proven to be more than just beneficial over the past years.

Customers can directly contact the respective partner in the region, who not only forms the perfect bridge between innovative production in Austria and the place of use in the respective country but also possesses regional expertise for country-specific construction methods.

In many cases, the local Variotherm Partner also takes on individual planning, as in this example. For the construction project in Voula, Greece, all rooms in the attic loft were equipped with high-quality products from Variotherm. Both an Underfloor Heating and a Wall and Ceiling Cooling were installed.

In addition to the surface heating and cooling systems, the sophisticated VarioManifolds were used.

Optimal activation of all available areas.

For the large window areas, a meander border zone was also planned and installed. This allows all areas – including border zones – to be used in the best possible way, ensuring perfect well-being for future residents. With a view of the vastness of the Aegean Sea, the builders have realized a dream that guarantees maximum comfort both outdoors and indoors in every season – whether in the fresh winter or hot summer.
