Playing is fun and promotes early education. The children from Theresienfeld (southern Lower Austria) will soon be able to look forward to a new modern kindergarten where they can spend a lot of time playing with like-minded peers. A "huge playground" will be built on 1,780 m², extending over two floors.

In the future, up to eight kindergarten groups can be supervised. Additionally, children aged one to three years can enjoy day care. A cozy room climate is ensured by 1,780 m² of Screed Floor Heating (System VarioRoll), which is installed throughout the kindergarten. The movement and group rooms, the premises for day care, the creative and play area, and the staff rooms are additionally equipped with a ceiling heating and cooling system with acoustic function. 
The ModularCeiling is installed in Drywall Construction. In these areas, the underfloor heating covers about 70–80% of the heat demand. The quickly responding ceiling heating is additionally activated via a room thermostat if needed. The young earthlings can romp around on the floor even in winter and play at comfortable room temperatures thanks to the surface heating. 

The installation work was carried out by the local installer AQUA Heizung & Sanitär, under the direction of Managing Director Herbert Schefberger.

This ceiling creates calm.

In the warm summer months, the underfloor heating is deactivated, and the rooms are pleasantly and healthily cooled via the ceiling. This way, neither the children nor their kindergarten teachers break a sweat. The ceiling has been equipped with an acoustic function – this reduces the noise level, allowing work, learning, and play in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere.

The short construction time is remarkable: From planning to opening in mid-April 2020, the construction project will be realized in just 12 months. Mr. Johannes Pachmann from "Wien-Süd Projektmanagement GmbH" is responsible for this tight schedule and the coordination of the trades.

What makes a child's heart beat faster? Right: A slide next to the external staircase leads to the garden area with a playground and a sledding and play hill. Fun is guaranteed!
