Green company site: Sustainable investments in Leobersdorf

Variotherm sets a strong example for sustainability and future orientation: In recent months and years, targeted investments have been made in renewable energy and storage technologies at the company site in Leobersdorf.

The heart of the project is a photovoltaic system with around 300 kWp capacity, which, together with a battery storage (500 kWh), covers the majority of the electricity demand directly on site. The energy system is complemented by a deep drilling that utilizes renewable heat from the ground – an ideal combination of solar and geothermal energy.

Through these measures, Variotherm can generate a large part of its energy autonomously, environmentally friendly, and regionally. This not only reduces CO₂ emissions but also increases the company's supply security.

With these investments in the Leobersdorf company location, Variotherm demonstrates that economic success and ecological responsibility fit together perfectly. The new green company location is another milestone on the path to becoming a climate-neutral company.
