Modern surface temperature control in the Founder era house in Jurekgasse

Modern living comfort is being created in Jurekgasse as part of a renovation project for old buildings: 100 m² of EasyFlex ceilings have already been installed, with a further 245 m² of ModularCeiling to follow. Efficient surface temperature control for five high-quality flats.

A thoroughly renovated residential project is currently underway in Jurekgasse in Vienna's 15th district, in a founder's era building dating from 1868. A total of five floors are being converted into five high-quality flats, each measuring around 111 m². Variotherm systems are making a key contribution to future living comfort.

Approximately 100 m² of EasyFlex ceiling has already been completed on the third floor. The plastered ceiling heating/cooling system is integrated directly into the ceiling and ensures even temperature distribution – completely invisible and space-saving. The activated surfaces create a pleasant indoor climate that offers high efficiency and comfort in both summer and winter.

The use of Variotherm ModularCeiling in drywall construction is already planned for the other floors:
Ground floor to 2nd floor: around 200 m² in total
Top floor: an additional 45 m²

Installation of these surfaces is scheduled for January 2026. The ModularCeiling enables particularly fast and precise installation and is ideal for renovation projects such as this former's era building, as it can be flexibly adapted to different room conditions.

The combination of EasyFlexCeiling and ModularCeiling creates a modern cooling concept that respectfully complements the historic building structure and brings it up to the latest energy standards. The five future flats will therefore benefit from comfortable, quiet and efficient surface heating and cooling – perfect for the modern living standards in the revitalised old building.
