The Dublin Bay at your feet

Undoubtedly a fairytale view of Dublin Bay. But before the builder can enjoy this view day after day, there is still a lot of work to be done. The single-family house on the outskirts of the city is being completely renovated. A sustainable heating system will also turn the house into a cozy place to live on rough evenings. The house was completely gutted and all substructures and sub-constructions were rebuilt. As part of these fundamental works, the existing heating system was also renewed. The old radiators were removed and replaced with an energy-saving surface heating system. The heating renovation was completed in just five working days.

When in winter the cold spray hits the rocks outside, the family can walk barefoot through the house thanks to the underfloor heating. The VarioRast Underfloor Heating – the underfloor heating for screed – heats the entire ground floor with pleasant radiant heat. The water-based heating system is invisibly installed in the floor and distributes the heat through the floor. Cold stone, tile, laminate, or wood parquet floors become warm in no time. The wall heating in the bedrooms of the upper floors completes the well-thought-out heating system. The underfloor heating in drywall construction with its slim construction height of 20 mm ensures a cozy bathroom.

The 100 mm thick external insulation reduces heat loss and increases energy efficiency. The necessary energy for the surface heating is provided by an air heat pump. It uses the cold outside air and thus generates pleasant heating temperatures.

Nothing will soon stand in the way of a daily walk on the beach.
