It was a triumphant night for the Austrian family business Variotherm Heizsysteme from Leobersdorf, Lower Austria, which has specialized in the development of innovative surface heating and cooling systems in harmony with nature for 44 years. 1st place in the International category - this prestigious award honors Variotherm's continuous dedication to quality and individuality in a constantly growing market segment.

The awarding of the HERMES Wirtschafts Preis in the magnificent rooms of the Hofburg marks one of the highlights in the impressive success story of Variotherm. The HERMES annually honors the top achievements of Austrian entrepreneurship, as Austria's economic champions secure the economic location and also prosperity. The decisive criteria for success were, in addition to net sales and equity, the export share, operating result, and the number of employees in recent years.

The history of Variotherm is characterized by an extraordinary dedication to perfection. Since the company's founding in 1979, the focus has been on the production and distribution of ecologically-economic surface heating and cooling systems for floors, walls, and ceilings. From the beginning, great importance was placed on the use of natural materials in the production of the products.

Today, Variotherm employs 40 staff members at the Leobersdorf, Lower Austria location. Recently, significant – and above all regional – investments have been made: On one hand, a new special machine for the production of our drywall construction underfloor heating was acquired, and on the other hand, a large warehouse was built to meet the continuously increasing demand. This award is a recognition of Variotherm's decades of hard work and tireless commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
