The VarioModular-Pipe 16 x 1.5 is an aluminium multi-layer composite pipe. Five layers are connected in the heating pipe, making the pipe flexible, easily bendable, yet dimensionally stable and thus ideal for surface heating systems.
The innermost layer of the pipe consists of a highly temperature-resistant polyethylene (PE-RT). The mirror-smooth surface does not allow deposits, allowing water to flow freely and with minimal pressure loss through the pipe.
Advantages
Absolutely corrosion-free
Optimal long-term performance
As light as a plastic pipe
10-year warranty with certificate
Profiled surface for optimized heat transfer (10% larger surface area)
Flexible, easily bendable, extremely dimensionally stable
Resistant to heating water additives (inhibitors, antifreeze)
Mirror-smooth inner surface, less pressure loss, no incrustation
High pressure and temperature resistance (10 bar, +95 °C)
100% oxygen diffusion-tight
Low linear expansion coefficient, low thermal expansion forces
Tested according to EN 21 003 (IMA Dresden), SKZ A 397
Where the VarioModular-Pipe is used
Insulated heating pipes are used wherever heat losses are to be avoided. This is especially true for pipes that run through unheated areas such as basements, technical rooms, or garages, or for pipe penetrations through walls or ceilings, where insulation is crucial to reduce energy losses and prevent condensation.
