Cozy rooms all year round.
Is it comfortably warm inside, even though no radiators are visible?
Then the warmth comes from the wall. The water-guided pipes are hidden in the wall and keep the room comfortably warm even in the deepest winter. Unlike convection heating, wall heating warms the room pleasantly with radiant heat and without drafts. If the rooms become too warm in summer, the wall heating transforms into cooling: Now cold water flows through the heating pipes.
Save energy during ongoing operations.
A wall heating system operates with low flow temperatures. This means: Due to the large-scale installation, this surface heating can heat with flow temperatures from 26 to 38 °C (depending on the outside temperature). In comparison, radiators require a flow temperature of up to 60 °C. Because: They only emit heat locally due to their small surface area.
Another reason why surface heating saves energy: The room air temperature can be lowered by up to 2 °C compared to radiators. Nevertheless, we still feel comfortably warm in the room. Each degree lowered saves about 6% in heating costs per year.
Our tip: Insulate the exterior walls and save even more on heating costs!

Wall Cooling
When cooled via the wall, we feel comfortable at a room temperature of 26 °C due to the radiation exchange. In comparison: When the room is cooled via an air conditioner, we need a room temperature of about 23 °C to achieve the same comfort. Thus, surface cooling saves up to 30% in energy costs. Plus: The wall cools without drafts and noise.

Living in harmony with nature.
With a view of the Danube and mountains, an entrepreneur lives near Melk in perfect harmony with nature. The new building made of natural building materials is a special place where everyone who comes and goes feels comfortable. An essential component for this: the EasyFlex wall heating with clay plaster!
Freely customizable.
In the plastered interior, the Wall Heating adapts to all design preferences. Both small and large areas can be used efficiently.
The VarioRails for fastening the VarioPro-Fil pipes meet all comfort needs: A wider pipe spacing for the large-scale installation of the heating and cooling system and a narrow pipe spacing for niches, cozy walls, and designed living landscapes.
Can furniture be placed in front of a wall heating?
Placing furniture that is too large in front of the wall heating/cooling reduces the heating and cooling performance.
A desk, smaller shelves, sideboards, or a couch are not an issue. However, a wall unit or a large wardrobe is unsuitable, as too much of the heating and cooling surface is covered.
Our tip: Coordinate your room concept and interior design in advance.
Healthy and energy-saving
Decades ago, the EasyFlexWall was developed by Variotherm. Since then, it has proven itself thousands of times in practice.
The reason for its popularity: The EasyFlexWall is a complete system in which all components are optimally coordinated. Optimal heat transfer and maximum functionality are thus guaranteed.
Individual planning
We not only deliver high-quality heating and cooling systems, but also plan each project individually – house by house, room by room, precisely according to our comfort criteria. Thanks to precise heating and cooling load calculations, we ensure maximum efficiency and optimal comfort.
This creates a tailor-made solution that perfectly fits your project – for a pleasant indoor climate all year round.
Coordinated components
The EasyFlexWall is characterized by its slim design, close pipe spacing, and high-performance heating/cooling. It is particularly easy to install and can be easily adapted to curved shapes.
This allows surfaces to be optimally heated and cooled. The system is therefore perfect for your living space, as well as for designed heating surfaces, cozy walls, or centrally heated tiled stoves.
VarioRail
The VarioRail is the fastening system for the VarioProFile Pipes. The material is made of polyethylene, which facilitates the installation of the VarioProFile Pipe on the wall. The heating pipe snaps in and can thus be installed quickly and evenly. The rail can be extended as desired through a special click technique. The grid spacing is 50 mm.

THE VARIOPROFILE PIPE 11.6 x 1.5
The VarioProFile Pipe 11.6 x 1.5 utilizes the advantages of aluminum and plastic. Five layers are connected, making the pipe easily bendable and yet dimensionally stable. The innermost layer of the pipe is made of polyethylene and is temperature resistant. The mirror-smooth surface prevents deposits, allowing water to flow through the pipe with minimal pressure loss. The profiled surface structure increases the outermost layer of the pipe by up to 10%.
A larger surface area means optimized heat transfer.
Simple and quick to assemble.
Whether brick, aerated concrete, or concrete walls – the VarioRails are simply attached to the wall. The easily bendable and dimensionally stable heating pipes (VarioProFile Pipes) snap easily and effortlessly into the VarioRails. The profiled surface of the Variotherm pipe guarantees optimal heat transfer.
In principle, any plaster suitable for wall heating and cooling can be applied. The ecologically tested Variotherm EcoHeatingPlaster has high thermal conductivity and vapor permeability. It is used as the first layer of plaster (base coat) and encloses the VarioProFile Pipes.
Final installation
Apply the Variotherm EcoHeatingPlaster mechanically or manually. The profiled pipe ensures optimal plaster adhesion. The plastering work is carried out as multi-layer plaster (base coat and top coat) or single-layer plaster.

Frequently Asked Questions
You are surely familiar with floor, ceiling, or wall heating. But can you also cool with this system in the summer? Yes! Because: While warm water flows through the heating pipes in winter, cool water at 16-20 °C circulates in summer and cools the rooms. Additionally, your room walls are not obstructed by a disruptive air conditioning unit.
The heating or cooling pipes (aluminium multi-layer composite pipes) are installed invisibly in the wall behind the plaster. In winter, warm water flows and the wall emits radiant heat; in summer, cold water (approx. 16–20 °C) circulates and extracts heat from the room — all without drafts or visible devices.
- Invisibly and space-design-friendly installed – no radiator or air conditioning unit necessary
- Quiet in operation and draft-free (usable at night as well)
- Flexibly designable: niches, cuddle walls, or shapes are possible thanks to variable pipe spacing
- Integrated component for heating and cooling operation in just one system
Surface heating systems operate using radiant heat. The rays spread out at a right angle to the surface. Humans are in direct radiant exchange with the floor only to a small percentage of the possible skin surface. In comparison, the radiant exchange with the wall heating is higher, which is why wall heating is often perceived as more comfortable.
