Sustainability connects the continents
This was the slogan under which Managing Director Alexander Watzek travelled to the US last week to present the energy-saving Variotherm heating and cooling systems for drywall construction at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo.
In 2015, the largest exhibition for sustainable building was held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. Our local partner, Mr Markus Fasel, together with the company head of Variotherm, explained about the company's resource-saving products to visitors and was very satisfied with the high level of interest. "We have grown up with these products. America needs to catch up in this field, and that's why we're here. We are confident that we can succeed," said Managing Director Alexander Watzek.
Also the state of Lower Austria is promoting greater cooperation between American and Lower Austrian companies. With this aim in mind, a delegation from Lower Austria with Member of the Provincial Government, Ms Petra Bohuslav, travelled to the US in order to strengthen already existing business contacts and to forge new ones. At the same time, there was also more intensive promotion of local companies.
