The ModulePanels are fixed to metal or wood support structures.
The VarioModule pipe is already fully integrated in the rear of the ModulePanel.
The pipes are easy to locate with the Variotherm pipe locator or using thermofoil.
‘CyberKnife’ is the name given to the state-of-the-art surgery provided in the new radiosurgery treatment centre at the Munich-Grosshadern Medical Clinic. The treatment room, which is around 50 m2 in size, is located underground behind thick concrete walls.
Ensuring a constant indoor climate was important during construction of the treatment centre, with walls in particular needing to be dry with surface temperatures ranging between 20 and 22 °C. This is why the architects opted for Variotherm modular wall heating. Cladding the walls enables the indoor environment in the treatment room to be kept comfortably constant. More than 150 m2 of heating and cooling surfaces were installed, which with 22 heating circuits are connected via two Variotherm pumped manifolds to the building’s general heating system.
