XPS thermal insulation panel
Well insulated
The XPS panel made of rigid polystyrene foam is a thermal insulation and impact sound insulation panel that can be deployed directly under the modular floor heating system VarioComp. Thanks to its good insulation properties (thermal conductivity 0.035 W/mk), it reduces the heat loss to the neighbouring environment. It is the ideal addition between non-insulated subsurfaces (such as even screed) and the VarioComp panel.
Tested and certified:
MFPA Leipzig, the Society for Material Research, tested and certified the impact sound insulation properties of the Variotherm product 'XPS panel 10-200'. The impact sound insulation properties of the VarioComp drywall construction floor heating on the XPS 10-200 thermal insulation panel was tested. The sound impact improvement value was measured based on DIN EN ISO 10140.
